About the Course
Join us for Creating Neuro-FIT Classrooms, a nationwide Neuro-FIT workshop series
building capacity in every region across the country, designed for Senior Leaders,
SENCO+LSC, and educators who are committed to supporting, and empowering
neurodiverse learners.
This practical workshop will deepen participants’ understanding of neurodiversity and equip
educators with meaningful ways to respect, support, and reduce barriers for neurodiverse
learners. Through Neuro-FIT, participants will gain practical tools to create tailored learning
environments, respond to behaviour with confidence and compassion, and bring out the best
in all students.
Key areas:
ADHD Girls
Girls with ADHD are often overlooked, misunderstood, or identified later, particularly when
their challenges present as masking, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism,
inattentiveness, social difficulties, or quiet disengagement. This focus helps educators
recognise needs earlier, respond with greater insight, and reduce the risk of students being
labelled as difficult, unmotivated, anxious, or withdrawn. Keynote: (tba. ideally Samantha

Trauma-Informed Practice
Trauma-informed practice will equip educators with an understand of how stress, overwhelm,
fear, past experiences, and emotional dysregulation can impact behaviour, engagement,
relationships, and learning. It will empower educators to look beneath the behaviour and
respond with safety, connection, consistency, and compassion.
Behaviour Management
Behaviour management through a neurodiversity-informed lens shifts the focus from simply
managing behaviour to understanding what the behaviour is communicating. This focus
equips educators with practical strategies to support regulation, reduce barriers, increase
participation, and ask, “What support does this learner need to succeed?”
Participants will come away with:
A deeper understanding of how ADHD can present in girls
An understanding of Trauma-informed approaches in learning environments
Effective Behaviour Management tools to reduce barriers and increase participation
Evidence-informed strategies for inclusive classroom support
Confidence to create Neuro-FIT cultures where learners can thrive
Growing Neuro-FIT Cultures is about moving beyond pop knowledge and redundant
behaviour management strategies, and towards creating learning environments where
neurodiverse learners are understood, supported, and set up for success.
