About the Course

🚨 ADHD GIRLS. AuDHD. AUTISM. TRAUMA. BOYS BEHAVIOUR…. 🚨

Too many neurodiverse learners are still being misunderstood, overlooked, or supported through approaches that simply don’t work.

The Neuro-FIT Classrooms workshop provides evidence-informed strategies that teachers can immediately implement to better support neurodiverse learners. Kaiako will gain greater confidence in responding to behaviour, reducing classroom disruption, strengthening learner engagement, and creating inclusive environments where every student can succeed. Importantly, the workshop equips kaiako with practical tools that can reduce stress, improve teacher efficacy, and foster more positive learning experiences for both staff and students.

✨ A key highlight is Dr Samantha Hiew, internationally recognised clinical psychologist, expert in ADHD and AuDHD, and New York Times bestselling author of ADHD Girls. Dr Hiew’s work has transformed our understanding of how ADHD presents in girls, an area often overlooked in education. As part of the Neuro-FIT Classrooms programme, Samantha has developed an exclusive and engaging keynote video workshop specifically for kaiako. Drawing on her expertise in ADHD and AuDHD in girls, she shares practical insights into why many learners remain overlooked, how ADHD can present differently in females, and what educators can do to better support their success.

This interactive workshop experience combines evidence-informed knowledge, real-world examples, reflective activities, and practical classroom strategies designed specifically for Neuro-FIT participants. Samantha’s contribution forms a key part of the Neuro-FIT learning journey, providing educators with actionable tools and deeper understanding that can be immediately applied within their own learning environments.
