Day 1: Tuesday, August 13th – Welcome and Connection

  • Arrival & Registration: 3:00 pm onwards – For those already in Melbourne, check-in and registration begin at 2:00 pm at the Hilton Double Tree. Marshall and Bex will be there to greet you personally.
  • Welcome Reception: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Mingle and connect with fellow leaders over a delicious welcome dinner at the opening reception. Pick up your event materials and unwind with your peers.

Day 2: Wednesday, August 14th – Igniting Leadership

  • Breakfast: 6:00 am – 9:00 am – Fuel your day with a delicious buffet breakfast.
  • Opening Keynote: 9:00 am – Marshall Diggs will set the stage for empowered leadership in today’s world.
  • Session 1: Unlocking Potential with AI in Education: 10:00 am – Bex Rose will delve into the exciting possibilities of Artificial Intelligence and its applications for educational innovation.
  • Morning Tea: 11:00 am – Refresh and connect with colleagues during a relaxing morning tea break.
  • Session 2: AI in Action: Practical Applications for Schools: 11:30 am – Danny Bedingfield will showcase practical ways to implement AI in your school setting.
  • Networking Lunch: 1:00 pm – Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet with your fellow leaders, fostering valuable connections and sharing insights.
  • Dinner: 7:00 pm – Savour a delightful dinner and continue building relationships with colleagues.

Day 3: Thursday, August 15th – Exploring Innovation: Google & Westbourne School Tour

  • Breakfast: 6:00 am – 9:00 am – Start your day with a nourishing buffet breakfast.
  • Google Visit: 9:30 am – Depart for an exclusive tour of Google’s Melbourne headquarters (subject to confirmation). Gain insights into the future of technology and its potential impact on education.
  • Lunch: (Details to be confirmed) – Lunch arrangements will be announced closer to the date.
  • Westbourne School Visit: 12:45 pm – Arrive at Westbourne School, renowned for their cutting-edge educational practices.
  • Digital Transformation in Education: 1:00 pm – Liam will present on how Westbourne School is embracing digital transformation.
  • Creating the Future Classroom: 2:00 pm – Teagan and/or Adrian will showcase Westbourne’s innovative approach to middle school education.
  • Afternoon Tea: 2:30 pm – Recharge with a refreshing afternoon tea.
  • Westbourne School Tour: 2:45 pm – Experience Westbourne’s vibrant learning environment firsthand with a guided tour led by Liam, Teagan, and Adrian.
  • Departure: 3:15 pm – Depart from Westbourne School.

Day 4: Friday, August 16th – Amplifying Your Leadership

  • Optional Activities: 7:00 am – Start your day with a rejuvenating sunrise walk, an invigorating gym session, or a restful sleep-in. Choose what best suits your needs.
  • Breakfast: 8:00 am – Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast to fuel your final day.
  • Closing Keynote: Ryan Hoffman | High Performing Culture and the Art of Coaching

Marshall Diggs

School of Innovation / GCLA Director

Marshall has a background as a principal, community leader and keynote speaker, Marshall’s role as Director at the Growth Culture Leadership Academy perfectly combines his incredible ability to inspire educators, with his strengths in leadership, coaching and mentoring.

Marshall and his wife are also deeply committed to global impact. Currently, they are pioneering community transformation projects in Australia, Uganda, Fiji and New Zealand in partnership with several charitable organisations including the Strengths Foundation and World Vision.

Bex Rose

Head of Impact

Bex is a passionate advocate for education with 20 years of experience in the field. Committed to ongoing learning and professional development, Bex has a strong track record of success, including facilitating Digital Technology for 2 years and demonstrating strong business acumen through 2 years in Business Development for an education-based PD provider. Known for galvanising teams and innovative problem-solving skills,

Ryan Hoffman

I am a former professional rugby league player of 16 years in two national competitions (NRL and Super League). I played for 3 clubs in 3 different countries whilst also representing NSW and Australia. After working as Football Operations manager for the Melbourne Storm, I am now Accounts Manager for Licensed Teams at Puma and host keynotes around High Performing Culture and the Art of Coaching
